  • HFSS Promotions Ban
    From 1 Oct 2025, multi-buy offers (BOGOF, 3-for-2) on less-healthy prepacked foods banned in England. Pack-based promotions allowed until 30 Sept 2026.  


  • HFSS Advertising Restrictions
    From 5 Jan 2026, 9pm watershed on TV/on-demand and full ban on paid online ads for less-healthy products. Voluntary compliance encouraged from Oct 2025. 


  • Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
    Packaging fees start Oct 2025; first invoices issued by PackUK. Prepare data and budgets now. 


  • “Not for EU” Labelling
    From 1 July 2025, more GB→NI retail goods require individual labels under Retail Movement Scheme. No blanket GB requirement yet.
